Paris 1874. Inventing Impressionism

The Musée d’Orsay marks the 150th anniversary of the first Impressionist exhibition with Paris 1874. Inventing Impressionism. The Normandie Impressionniste 2024 festival also celebrates the anniversary through exhibitions and events across Normandy.
Paul-Louis Durand-Ruel and Flavie Durand-Ruel Mouraux contribute an entry on Paul Durand-Ruel to the accompanying ABC of Impressionism. Claire Durand-Ruel Snollaerts writes a biography of Pissarro for Le Figaro’s special issue Impressionnisme. Soleil levant, which also includes an article on Paul Durand-Ruel.
